Fall Plant Care

As the days get shorter, it's time to prepare your plants for a restful season.

Less Water, No Food

As light levels decrease, your plant's growth will slow down. This means they need less water. Start reducing your watering frequency. Stop fertilizing altogether until the spring. Fertilizing a dormant plant can damage its roots.

Light and Location

You may need to move your plants closer to windows to maximize the available light. Clean your windows to let in as much light as possible. Keep plants away from cold drafts and heating vents.
