Light & Water

Spider plants prefer bright, indirect light but are adaptable to lower light conditions. Water them well, but allow the soil to dry out a bit between waterings. They are prone to brown tips if the soil is kept too wet or if using tap water with high mineral content.

The Gift That Keeps on Giving

Happy spider plants produce long stems with small white flowers that then develop into tiny "spiderettes" or baby spider plants. These can be snipped off and easily propagated in water or soil to create new plants.
