ZZ Plant Care Guide

The king of low-maintenance plants, the ZZ is as tough as it is beautiful.

Thrives on Neglect

The ZZ Plant is the perfect plant for forgetful owners or low-light environments. It prefers medium to low indirect light and can tolerate very low light. It stores water in its underground rhizomes, so it's extremely drought-tolerant. Water only when the soil is completely dry, which could be as infrequent as once a month.

Slow and Steady

ZZ Plants are slow growers, so be patient. They require very little care and are generally pest-free. Simply wipe down the leaves occasionally to keep them looking shiny and dust-free.
